It's Friday....and that means another Blogger's Challenge. This week we were given a sketch for inspiration.
Would you like to see my project?
I love this color combination.....Rich Razzleberry and Pale Plum. It's so gorgeous.
This card is pretty simple....so I won't bore you with all the details. I'll put the card recipe at the bottom of the post so you know what products I used.
The drama comes from the focal image. I stamped the flower image from One of a Kind on Pale Plum cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink. I used my aquapainter and Rich Razzleberry ink to color the outside portion of the flower. The next portion of the flower was colored in with my Pale Plum marker. I then stamped the little flower from the stamp set onto Rich Razzleberry ink using Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I punched it out with a 1/2" circle punch and placed it on my Build-a-Brad. THe Build-a-Brad was placed in the center of the flower.
Now.....I am definitely on a Crystal Effects kick lately. I added a layer of Crystal Effects all over the flower (not on the Build-a-Brad). The picture doesn't do it justice....it's so much cooler in person!!
Card Recipe
stamps: One of a Kind, Tres Chic
paper: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum
ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum
accessories: Build-a-Brad, Crystal Effects, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain (I used the reverse side), Vintage Brads, 1/2" circle punch
