I can't imagine this happy looking Santa putting anyone on the "naughty" list. He absolutely is a jolly 'ol elf.
This is one of the projects we made at last weekend's Stamp Club. I think the girls were pretty happy with the project! Not everyone loves to watercolor, but this card only needs a little bit of it........so there were no pouty faces!! Besides, as the song says......they can't pout if they want Santa Claus to come to town, right?
We watercolored using Stampin' Write markers (scribbled onto a piece of glass) and picked up with some Aquapainters. Don't forget to highlight his beard with Sahara Sand.....it really makes the beard stand out from the fur on his hat. Of course, the Dazzling Diamonds makes a difference too!
Santa is sitting on a scallop square cut with the Big Shot and the Scallop Square Duo. I am in love with this die because the square sizes are perfect for use on a card!
I'll leave you with the card recipe so you'll know how to recreate it. If you have ANY questions, just send me an email or leave a comment on this post. I'll get back to you as quick as Santa flies up the chimney!!!!
Do you love this project? All of the items used on this card are available for purchase through my demonstrator website. Did you know that if you place an online order with me, I send you a handstamped card? Everyone gets something different!!! You may get a Halloween card.....or a Christmas card....or a birthday card....or a funny card! You never know what you're gonna get, but I can guarantee it's an original.....handstamped by me!!!
