I know it's hard to think of Christmas when it's hot and humid, but it will be here before you know it.
I am already planning my "Christmas in July" Stamp-a-Stack. It will actually take place in August.....oh well!
This is my first Christmas card of the year....and it was SO easy to make.
First of all, I LOVE this reindeer stamp. It is called Dasher, and it is only $8.95. Can you believe it? I love that Stampin' Up! has started selling single stamps. It's a great way for a newbie to get introduced to the Stampin' Up! product.
Anyhoo....onto the card.
The base card is Chocolate Chip.
The next layer has some new pine bough patterned paper from the Merry Moments designer series paper pack. The edges are sponged with Old Olive ink. The other side of the card has plain Old Olive cardstock. I used some of the brand new Real Red Polka Dot ribbon to cover where the two papers meet.
The reindeer is stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I used my Texture jumbo wheel and Creamy Caramel ink to add some texture to the focal image. The edges are sponged with Close to Cocoa ink. The image is matted on Real Red and Creamy Caramel.
The sentiment comes from Christmas Punch which is a level 2 hostess set. This set is wonderful because each of the images coordinates with one of the Stampin' Up! punches. I can't wait to use it for my Christmas gift tags. I stamped it with Chocolate Chip ink on Creamy Caramel cardstock. It's adhered to the card with a dimensional.
That's it....one Christmas card done.....only about 60-70 left to go. No problem!!! LOL!! This year I plan on starting early so there's no holiday rush......did I convince you? Nope...didn't think so!!!
Until next time....Happy Stamping everyone!
I really love this raindeer card!! Very nice! TFS!

Wow Patti. This is my favorite Christmas card yet this summer. The colors and designs are rustic and sophisticated all at the same time. A wonderful collection too of all the new SU products all in one piece. Your customers are going to love this one!
