This week's sketch leaves A LOT of empty space. I had to be careful to make the background not too busy to take away from the three little focal images. So, I decided to use a subtle patterned paper as my backdrop.
This gorgeous patterned paper comes from the brand new Cottage Wall pack. This particular paper has Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum and Orchid Opulence in it. So pretty!!!
All I did was stamp the sentiment (from the Level 3 hostess set, Kind & Caring Thoughts) in Rich Razzleberry ink and sponge the edges with Pale Plum. This is matted on Basic Black and then placed on a Rich Razzleberry base card.
I stamped the little butterflies (from Flight of the Butterfly) on Whisper White cardstock with Rich Razzleberry ink. I cut out the butterflies and placed above the sentiment with dimensionals. The wings are pulled upwards to make them look like they are flying off the card.
The final touch is some Rich Razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon.
I hope the Stamping 411 Operators have inspired you to create a card using this sketch. Make sure you use Mr. Linky on the Stamping 411 Blog so we can see it.
Until next time....Happy Stamping everyone!!
So pretty, Patti! I love this paper and what you've done with it!
