It's a rainy, damp day here in MN. Even worse....I hear a drip, drip noise in our bathroom. Yup, the roof is leaking in between the walls. We found the leak....so now Dennis needs to climb the roof tomorrow to seal the hole. Now, we have to get someone in here to see how to dry out the wall so mold doesn't grow. UGH!!!
Let's talk about happier things......like this cool Christmas card. Dontcha just love the non-traditional colors? I DO TOO!!! It's so unlike me. The card is so easy to make....the drama comes from the colors and the addition of the Shimmer Paint to the center of the snowflakes.
The base card is Rich Razzleberry.
The main layer is Pale Plum that has been stamped with the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes (coming Sept. 1st in the new Holiday Mini catty) using Rich Razzleberry ink.
The cardstock has been heavily sponged with Rich Razzleberry ink.
The centers of the snowflakes have been dotted with the Frost White Shimmer Paint using an embossing stylus.
I added a 1 1/2" x 5" strip of Pale Plum that has it's top edge pierced using the Paper Piercing tool.
I added some White 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
The sentiment (from Sincere Salulations) has been stamped with Rich Razzlberry ink.
That's it......easy peasy!!!
I love this card, and it's going to be one of my cards for my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack....coming in September.

Very, VERY pretty - and I DO LOVE those non traditional colors. I was just thinking the other day I need to come up with something in Razzleberry or Bermuda Bay. Great card! Good Luck with the leak... We just had to put a new roof on not so long ago so I feel your pain...

Patti,
This a beautiful. I'm not one to like non-traditional christmas colors, but I might have to make this my christmas card this year - with a few customizations - of course!
