I've been playing with my Holiday catalog goodies left and right, and I can't decide what stamp set I love the most.
The Ornament Keepsakes is definitely a contender. Have you checked out that awesome ornament on the front cover of the Holiday catalog? I didn't even have the stamp set in my hand yet.....I judged just by that photo.......and knew that I would be love at first sight!!!
While the ornament takes a bit of time, this card was very easy to put together.
Here's some helpful hints about this card:
- use the Daydream wheel to decorate the base card. The wheel adds drama without any bulk.
- use the side of your scissor or bone folder to distress the edges of the Soft Suede strip
- use the Direct-to-Paper technique to give the More Mustard layer texture
- ink up the ornament image with Old Olive ink, moisten a cotton swab and remove the color from the top of the ornament, color it in with a Riding Hood Red marker, huff on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock
I'll leave you with the card recipe in case you would like to make this card yourself. If you need any Stampin' Up! supplies, I hope you'll shop from my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for choosing me as your demonstrator.
