Happy Valentine's Day!!!! I thought today I would share a shabby chic valentine I created for a recent swap I was in.
Valentine's Day is all about love. Speaking of love, I absolutely am enamored with the new lace doilies from the Spring catalog. They add so much for such a little cost. They are just $2.95 for 24 doilies. On this card, I cut the doilie in half.....so it's even more cost-efficient!!!
I like to give you helpful tips on using Stampin' Up! products. Here's one to think about. Try cutting the Two Tone ribbon in half using your ribbon scissors. Although the edge will be rough cut, it can easily be hid by a thinner ribbon (I used the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon) to add more drama! By cutting this extra-wide ribbon in half, you can easily use it on smaller cards without it affecting the balance on the card.
I will leave you with the card recipe in case you would like to make it for yourself. Please shop in my ONLINE STORE if you need any Stampin' Up! supplies. Thanks for choosing me as your demonstrator.
